From grab-and-go options at concourses throughout the stadium, alongside premium offerings in hospitality suites and bars, all designed to create an outstanding matchday experience for every fan up to corporate hospitality.
Role Purpose:
Join Southampton Football Club’s matchday team within front of house retail, supporting fast paced food and beverage outlets across the stadium. This is an excellent opportunity for customer focused individuals seeking flexible, casual work in a vibrant matchday environment.
What We’re Looking For
We are hiring both Retail Staff and Supervisors to support matchday retail operations at Southampton FC.

Previous experience in retail, hospitality, or customer service roles (stadium or event experience desirable)

Strong communication and customer service skills

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

A positive, reliable, and team oriented approach

Basic numeracy and confidence handling transactions

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays
For Supervisors:

Prior supervisory or team leader experience

Ability to lead, motivate, and support a team during busy service periods

Strong organisational and decision making skills
What You’ll Be Doing
Retail Staff:
-
Serving food and beverages to fans across retail outlets and kiosks

Providing excellent customer service to enhance the matchday experience

Operating tills and handling cash/card transactions accurately

Maintaining cleanliness and stock levels within your assigned area

Following food safety and hygiene standards
Supervisors:
-
Leading and supporting retail teams during matchday operations
-
Ensuring smooth service delivery across kiosks and retail units

Managing staff deployment, breaks, and workflow during peak periods

Resolving customer queries and supporting service standards

Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and food hygiene policies

Retail Staff pay rate: £15.07 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)

Supervisor pay rate: £16.23 per hour (inclusive of holiday pay)
