Meadowbank Shotblasting Ltd is a rapidly expanding Industrial coatings company, located in Rotherham close to the M1.
Through our customer service and commitment to a quality, we have continued to remain extremely busy during these difficult times.
Due to our expansion we currently have a position vacant for an experienced Crane operator/Labourer.
Standard 8hr shift. Start finish times to be agreed, these could be flexible to suit the applicant. Possible overtime if required.
Applicants must have extensive previous experience of overhead crane operations, handling and turning large steel items and the loading and un-loading of lorries.
Applicant would also benefit from having some experience of manually grit blasting large Industrial items within a booth environment, or operation of auto-blasting machine.
Previous spray painting and/or fork lift truck experience would also be a distinct advantage.
Applicant must be physically fit as the position requires manual labour and the lifting and handling of heavy items.
Applicants will be required to assist with all aspects of blasting and painting production, under minimal supervision and be able to adapt to varies products and techniques. Reliability and time keeping will be a key element to success.
Job location is Rotherham. Please do not apply if you cannot commute on a daily basis at the specified times.
