About Us
Pablo Artisan Coffee is a new, modern café on Broadway, serving a simple and well-structured breakfast & brunch menu. We are looking for a reliable Breakfast Cook / Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and service.
This role includes supporting dishwashing and general cleaning duties as part of our shared cafe workflow. This position does not require advanced chef experience. If you can follow recipes, stay organised, and keep a clean workstation, you will be a great fit.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare breakfast menu items including:
- Eggs Benedict / Royal
- Avocado toast
- Breakfast burgers
- French toast & pancakes
- Simple sourdough-based dishes
- Follow standard recipes, portion sizes and plating guidelines
- Handle basic mise en place and daily prep
- Maintain a clean and safe working area
- Support stock rotation and labelling
- Work closely with the barista team for smooth service
RequirementS
- Previous kitchen or café experience
- Weekend Avalibility
- Knife Skills
- Food Safety Level 2
- Allergen Awareness Training
- Understanding of basic HACCP principles (preferred)
- Ability to follow recipes and portion standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual and well-organised
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Right to work in the UK
Pay: £12.71-£13.00 per hour
