Duties
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes according to established recipes and standards, ensuring consistency and excellence in every plate.
- Assist in the development of new menu items by contributing innovative ideas and culinary techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, adhering strictly to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service hours by efficiently managing meal preparation and plating.
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management of shortages or replenishment needs.
- Ensure all food served meets safety standards, including proper storage, handling, and temperature control.
- Collaborate with team members to create a positive, energetic work environment focused on delivering memorable dining experiences.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role within a restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and food safety regulations.
- Hands-on kitchen experience with the ability to work efficiently under pressure during service hours.
- Excellent understanding of food presentation and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow recipes accurately while also contributing creative ideas when appropriate.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Prior serving or hospitality experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for customer service is essential.

Pay: £12.71-£15.00 per hour
