Join Our Growing Team at Purple Granite
At Purple Granite, we’ve been crafting stunning stone worktops since 2010, and our reputation continues to grow. We’re proud to deliver exceptional value without ever compromising on quality—working across the kitchen trade, shopfitters, builders, and direct-to-the-public customers.
Due to continued success, we’re expanding our Fitting Team and are looking for a motivated Lead Installer to take charge on site, lead a fitting team, and play a key role in delivering an outstanding customer journey from arrival to completion.
If you take pride in your craftsmanship, enjoy leading others, and believe great customer service is just as important as a perfect finish, this could be the role for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Leading a fitting team on site, setting the standard for workmanship, professionalism, and customer care.
- Installing solid stone worktops with precision, care, and attention to detail.
- Owning the customer experience on installation day, ensuring customers feel informed, respected, and confident throughout the process.
- Carrying out thorough quality checks during installation and prior to loading.
- Completing all required paperwork accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring your company vehicle is fully stocked, organised, and ready for each job.
- Operating tools and machinery safely and responsibly in line with Health & Safety requirements.
- Surveying installation sites to ensure they meet Health & Safety standards.
- Representing Purple Granite professionally and positively with customers, both on site and over the phone.
- Supporting the Installations and Production Manager with team tasks, mentoring, and projects.
- Assisting with yard and staff area maintenance when required.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience in stone installation or a related trade is desirable, but not essential—full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- The confidence (or willingness to develop the confidence) to lead a fitting team on site.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- A customer-focused mindset and understanding of the importance of the customer journey.
- A positive, proactive attitude and pride in doing the job properly.
- A full driving licence (essential).
What’s in It for You
- A key role in a fast-growing, well-respected company where your contribution matters.
