Overview
We are seeking a compassionate, reliable and dedicated PA/Support Worker to support a young man who suffered a traumatic brain injury, to live independently in his own flat in the community, Monday to Friday 08:00-15:30. This gentleman experiences seizures and wears a seizure alarm, he requires support and companionship with going into the community, going out for meals, playing pool and Fifa. This young man is also passionate about table tennis and badminton. He requires a driver to drive his vehicle and would prefer carers who do not have a strong accent.
Duties
- Assisting clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Assist with shopping once a week.
- Providing companionship and emotional support.
- Assisting with medication management and administration as required and supporting with seizure medication and buccal Midazolam.
- Facilitating outings and activities to promote social engagement and wellbeing
- Maintaining accurate records of support provided and any changes in client needs
- Driving clients to appointments or social activities when necessary
- Communicating effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery
Requirements
- Valid driving licence and willingness to drive clients when required
- MUST like DOGS.
- Experience working with Epilepsy and seizures.
- Good organisational skills to manage care plans and daily schedules
- Proficiency in English, both written and spoken, for effective communication
- Basic IT skills for maintaining records and updating documentation
- Compassionate attitude with a strong commitment to providing high-quality support

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
