Optical Assistant – North West London
Salary: £28,000 DOE + Bonus + Mileage
Hours: Full Time or Part Time | Monday to Friday

Zest Optical are recruiting an experienced Optical Assistant to join a growing independent domiciliary eyecare provider covering North West London and the surrounding areas.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an Optical Assistant who enjoys working with patients but would like to move away from a traditional high street practice environment.
You'll join a growing business focused on providing personal, unhurried eyecare and building genuine long-term relationships with patients.
No previous domiciliary experience is required, with support available for an Optical Assistant moving across from practice.
Optical Assistant – Role
- Support the Optometrist during domiciliary clinic days
- Assist patients with frame and lens selection
- Deliver completed eyewear and provide aftercare
- Collect and organise orders from the North West London laboratory
- Visit patients across sheltered housing, independent living settings and their own homes
- Build strong, long-term relationships with patients
- Manage your own schedule for deliveries and visits
- Support relationships with local care homes and independent living providers

Optical Assistant – Requirements
- Previous Optical Assistant experience
- Confident with frames, lenses and optical dispensing
- Personable, patient and comfortable spending time with customers
- Full UK driving licence
- Access to your own vehicle
