Job Title: Professional Development Trainer
Location: London, UK (6 days per year in office)
Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum
Due to rapid growth within the business, we’re looking for a Professional Development Trainer to join the amazing team at Leep Talent! You will be responsible for the delivery of training across our Apprenticeship and Commercial programmes in HR, Learning & Development, Leaderships & Management, and Coaching at Levels 3, 4, 5 & 7. Within this role, you will be a mentor to the learners that you are supporting, guiding them to evidence the knowledge and skills through assignments that will showcase what they have learnt whilst on programme.
You will work alongside Senior Trainers, Curriculum, IQA and Service Delivery to assist in the development of training methodologies and materials currently used within the business. You will adapt different ways of working and be able to establish individual learning needs and introduce new ways of working. You should identify best practices and bring individualism and personality to a standardised course. The training will predominantly require delivering in a remote environment, however, can involve some classroom face to face sessions from time to time.
Main Responsibilities
- Motivate and encourage learning and development in your learners, creating an engaging and interactive learning environment which caters to various learning styles.
- Be able to maintain current and relevant curriculum content through regular reviews of training slides, including development and maintenance of learning resources, understanding the development and implementation of lesson plans and schemes of work.
- Marking of learner assignments and provide constructive and developmental feedback to learners, communicating with the Apprenticeship team/Career Support team on candidates for concern.
- Actively developing new initiatives and training methodologies to impact candidates learning, as well as effective training plans to establish the needs of both learners and employers.
- Ensuring that Leep Talent is perceived within the market as a high-quality provider of Apprenticeship and Commercial solutions to both candidates and clients alike.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience in delivery or CIPD qualifications, with a strong understanding of Apprenticeships.
- A strong communicator, with the ability to provide effective feedback to learners and develop learner progression through a series of learning stages.
- A L4 Teaching qualification or both L3 Teaching and L3 Assessor’s qualification, as well as relevant qualifications within taught subject and L2 Maths & English.

Learner-facing roles that involve working directly with learners will be subject to an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, including relevant barred list checks. The successful candidate must also complete all pre-employment vetting and will complete safeguarding training during their induction.
