Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead and oversee complex structural design projects across various sectors. As a key member of our engineering team, you will collaborate with clients, architects, and construction teams to ensure project success from concept through completion. Duties
- Lead the structural design process for diverse projects, ensuring compliance with all relevant codes and standards.
- Develop detailed structural models using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and other CAD software tools.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively while coordinating multidisciplinary teams to meet project milestones.
- Conduct thorough analysis and calculations utilizing Mathcad and other engineering tools to optimize system design solutions.
- Review and approve design drawings, specifications, and reports prepared by junior engineers or external consultants.
- Oversee construction phases by providing technical support on-site, resolving design issues promptly, and ensuring quality control. Design steel beams (RSJs), foundations, padstones and structural alterations.
- Maintain clear documentation of project progress, design changes, and communication with stakeholders to ensure transparency and accountability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master’s degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in structural engineering with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and CAD software for detailed system design.
- Solid understanding of construction processes and experience working on site during construction phases.
- Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to lead teams effectively under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical skills with expertise in structural analysis software such as Mathcad.
- Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices related to civil and structural systems.

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
