Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, pots, and pans to ensure hygiene standards are met.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is clean, functional, and stored correctly after use.
- Help with waste disposal and recycling procedures to maintain an organized workspace.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to promote a safe working environment for all staff.
- Support serving staff during busy periods by clearing tables and assisting with basic hospitality duties when needed.
Requirements
- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues.
- Good understanding of hygiene standards and health & safety regulations in food service.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required.
- A genuine interest in hospitality and delivering excellent customer service.
