Job Summary
We are seeking a confident and professional Credit Controller to join our friendly and support team here at The Right Fuel Card. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the organisation’s credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining positive relationships with clients.
A bit about what you'll be doing:
- Contact customers with regards to outstanding debt via telephone and email; ensuring timely payments.
- Perform daily/weekly departmental tasks in order to ensure effective debt collection and minimise bad debt risk to the business.
- Log customer communications to ensure consistency of service and experience.
- Liaise internally with colleagues in the sales team and finance.
- Ensure timely, assertive communication in order to minimize debts.
- Monitor and manage credit exposure reports on a daily basis, in order to minimise risk.
- Process accounts for further action if/when required, such as sending accounts legal and providing required information to our legal providers.
Requirements:
- Experience in credit control / debit collection.
- Confidence dealing with customers and managing payment conversations.
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Well organised and able to manage workload effectively.
- Comfortable working to deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
