Overview
We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Senior Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering a high quality dining experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of food delivery. This will involve menu design, food ordering, preparation and quality control, food hygiene and regulatory compliance. The role will involve leading a team of 4-5 chefs, along with kitchen support staff. Responsibilities of the role will be based in two commercial kitchens, in venues approximately two miles apart. Each venue has 30 to 50 covers. Your leadership will be instrumental in maintaining a vibrant, efficient, and welcoming culinary environment that delights our guests and elevates our brand. Duties
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality food preparation
- Oversee all aspects of food production, from ingredient sourcing to final presentation, maintaining consistency and excellence
- Manage food safety protocols rigorously, ensuring compliance with health regulations and sanitation standards
- Develop innovative menus that reflect current culinary trends while respecting traditional techniques
- Coordinate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless serving of dishes and exceptional guest satisfaction
- Train team members on cooking techniques, food safety practices, and customer service standards
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and control costs to optimize kitchen efficiency and profitability
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience in a fast-paced culinary environment, preferably within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Extensive culinary experience with strong skills in food preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Demonstrated team management abilities with a focus on leadership, mentorship, and staff development
- Solid kitchen experience with comprehensive knowledge of food safety regulations and sanitation standards
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively across kitchen and service teams
- Background in restaurant or hospitality industries with hands-on experience in serving diverse customer needs
- Passion for innovation in cuisine combined with a commitment to quality and guest satisfaction
Pay: £35,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
