Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Low Loader HGV Driver to join our family and friendly run team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, based from Fareham. There will be nights out (paid) as well as a weekend rota.
Responsibilities
- Drive vehicles such as lorries to transport goods over short and long distances
- Load and unload cargo, Heavy plant and machinery.
- Follow safety regulations and traffic laws
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues
- Plan routes to meet delivery schedules
- Maintain logs of working hours and vehicle maintenance
Skills
- Possess a valid Commercial Driving Licence (CDL) Class 1
- Proficient in driving various types of vehicles
- Experience as a Delivery Driver is advantageous
- Ability to operate Low Loader lorries efficiently
- IPAF and any relevant cards are advantageous
Pay
£48000 basic salary, nights out £26.50, saturdays £250, Sundays £350 and if you work past 19:30 on a Friday a extra £175
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £48,000.00-£60,000.00 per year
