We are a family-run business who operate a number of sites located on Southend City seafront, ranging from Arcades to Bowling Alleys, Ice-Cream Shops to Pubs. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for our visitors along the City seafront, enabling them to create memories to last a lifetime.
We are seeking self-motivated and dependable Security Officer's with a valid SIA badge and ideally a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position. The ideal candidate will be capable of being flexible and creative, requiring little to no supervision as well as being able to work well in a team or with a partner. The Security Officer's primary responsibility will be to provide security for both the front and back areas of our company properties, paying close attention to detail and monitoring customers as they come in and out of the buildings. They will also be required to develop a positive relationship with our teams, maintaining a steady flow of communication regarding their security needs. Above all, most of the businesses are family led - so excellent customer service is imperative.
Responsibilities:
- Observe, evaluate and respond to potentially dangerous situations and suspicious activities.
- Proactively enforce company policies, inclusive of handling and dispersing non-compliant, disruptive individuals.
- Ensure adherence to all security procedures.
- Resolve conflict between two or more parties.
- Locate and report suspicious activities and persons to the appropriate authorities.
- Respond to emergency situations and calls for assistance in a safe and timely manner.
- Provide customer service in a professional manner.
