Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Domestic Cleaner/Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation within private homes. Prior experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking and customer service. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Ensure all rooms are maintained to high hygiene standards, including kitchens and bathrooms
- Assist with laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organising clothes and linens
- Restock supplies and organise storage areas efficiently
- Respond promptly to client requests or specific instructions regarding cleaning tasks
- Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when interacting with clients
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times during cleaning activities
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Organised, reliable, and attentive to detail
- Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
