Yorhealth is a growing healthcare and social care provider delivering high-quality Complex Care, Supported Living and Community Support services across the UK.
As we continue to expand, we're looking for a motivated and organised Recruitment & People Coordinator to join our team. This is a varied role with recruitment at its core, whilst also providing support across onboarding, workforce administration, payroll and wider business improvement projects.
This opportunity would suit someone who enjoys recruitment but is keen to develop their skills and gain exposure to other areas of a growing organisation.
The Role
Recruitment will be your primary focus, supporting hiring across our Complex Care, Supported Living and central business functions.
You will be responsible for:
Recruitment
- Creating and managing job adverts across multiple platforms
- Sourcing, screening and shortlisting candidates
- Conducting telephone and face-to-face interviews
- Coordinating interviews with hiring managers
- Managing candidate pipelines through our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process
- Supporting recruitment campaigns and workforce planning initiatives
- Building talent pools to support future growth
Onboarding & Workforce Support
- Managing the onboarding process from offer through to employment
- Coordinating pre-employment checks and compliance requirements
- Preparing new starter documentation and ensuring accurate employee records
- Supporting the transition of new employees through to payroll setup
- Helping deliver a smooth and engaging onboarding experience
Business Support
- Providing administrative support to central business functions
- Assisting with payroll and HR administration (training will be provided)
- Supporting projects focused on business growth, process improvement and employee experience
- Maintaining accurate records and supporting reporting requirements
- Assisting with ad hoc business initiatives as required
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous recruitment experience, ideally within healthcare, social care or a fast-paced recruitment environment
- Is confident managing multiple vacancies and priorities
- Has experience using recruitment systems or ATS platforms
- Possesses excellent organisational and communication skills
- Has strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- Enjoys variety and is keen to develop skills beyond recruitment
- Is comfortable working collaboratively across different teams and functions
- Shares our values of kindness, respect and continuous improvement
Experience within payroll, HR administration or onboarding processes would be beneficial but is not essential, as training and support will be provided.
