Summary
We are seeking a skilled Jaguar Land Rover Classic Vehicle Technician to join our team in the United Kingdom. Based in our workshop, this role is vital in maintaining and restoring classic JLR vehicles, contributing to our mission of excellence and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair classic Jaguar Land Rover vehicles using schematics and mechanical expertise.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to perform maintenance and repairs.
- Assemble vehicle components with precision and care.
- Conduct equipment repairs and ensure all work meets safety standards.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs and maintenance procedures.
- Assist in heavy lifting tasks safely during vehicle restoration projects.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed for quality assurance.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with vehicle diagnostics and repairs, especially on luxury or classic vehicles.
- Strong mechanical knowledge of automotive systems.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills for customer interactions.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Previous experience working in a restoration or classic vehicle environment is preferred.
