Our work environment includes:

- This is for a night shift position Monday to Thursday 4.30pm to 3am
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines to fabricate sheet metal parts according to blueprints and specifications.
- Assemble and install tooling, such as dies, punches, and gauges, onto press brake machines.
- Perform quality inspections of fabricated parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.
- Read and interpret blueprints to determine the correct dimensions and tolerances for each part.
- Adjust machine settings to ensure proper bending angles and dimensions are achieved.
- Monitor machine operation to detect any malfunctions or issues that may affect the quality of the parts.
- Perform routine maintenance on press brake machines, including cleaning and lubricating.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating press brake machines or similar equipment is required.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints for sheet metal fabrication.
- Knowledge of various hand tools used in sheet metal fabrication.
- Familiarity with using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools for quality inspection.
- Ability to work with precision and attention to detail to ensure accurate fabrication of parts.
- Strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot any issues that may arise during machine operation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £14.50-£16.00 per hour
