An exciting position has just become available at Adventurize. We are looking for a talented marketing manager to join the ABR Festival team to take control of all aspects of marketing our industry-leading festival.
Held on the last weekend of June, the ABR Festival is the UK’s biggest motorcycle festival. Since 2019, we have been welcoming passionate motorcyclists to the magnificent Ragley Hall Estate and have consistently wowed audiences, achieving year-on-year growth of festival ticket holders.
As the new Marketing Manager for the ABR Festival, you will take on control of all aspects of marketing the event. Your main goal will be simple: achieve ticket sales targets and gain maximum global coverage for the event.
Key responsibilities:
- First and foremost, responsible for achieving ticket sales goals.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the ABR Festival, including digital, social media, and traditional marketing channels.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges.
- Oversee the creation of all marketing materials and ensure they are in line with our brand identity and relevant to our key audiences.
- Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
- Ensure all marketing activities are cost-effective and have a high return on investment.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, influencers, and key industry players to maximise outreach.
- Collaborate with the sales team to align marketing strategies with sales objectives.
- Stay up to date with the latest technology and best practices in digital marketing.
- Develop strategies for pre, during, and post event marketing to expose as many people as possible to the ABR Festival.
What the role will involve:
The role of ABR Festival Marketing Manager encompasses all aspects of marketing with one clear goal. Performance will be measured against ticket sales, and the role will typically involve the following:
- Heading up the marketing efforts of the ABR Festival, both on and offline.
- Creating and running campaigns to promote the Festival to existing and new audiences.
- Creating, launching, and maintaining sales funnels.
- Managing PPC advertising campaigns across Google and Facebook.
- Writing conversion-focused email campaigns.
- Building our existing marketing audiences (mailing lists, etc.) and developing new, relevant audiences.
- Working with key partners and stakeholders in the festival to utilize their marketing channels and achieve pre-agreed marketing goals.
- Exploring traditional marketing channels and gauging their effectiveness for promoting the festival.
- Creating landing pages that are optimized for conversions.
- Identifying key events for the festival to exhibit at and planning the stand and relevant assets.

- A strong understanding of Facebook Ads Manager and Google Ads.
- Competence using ActiveCampaign or proven experience of using another email marketing software.
- Competence using Wordpress CMS.
- Excellent social media and audience engagement skills (Facebook and Instagram essential).
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
- Ability and willingness to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
- Highly creative mindset with a passion for marketing.
- Proactive and enthusiastic personality with a willingness to learn.

Due to the location of our offices, any successful candidate should have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle. The role is office-based (though we would be willing to discuss hybrid options for the right candidate), and our offices aren’t served by any public transport.
