The Role
We’re looking for a Production Operative to join our fast-paced, safety-critical production line environment. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring our operations run smoothly, our products meet the highest standards, and our customers receive the quality and service they expect.
You’ll need to be detail-focused, safety-conscious, and able to work efficiently in a structured production setting. Working with a variety of hand tools, electric tools, and pneumatic tools to support the overhaul and repair of rail brake components. A mechanical background is preferred, especially experience in overhaul or repair work. Physical tasks, including manual handling and heavy lifting, are part of the daily routine.
Key Responsibilities
- Working safely and efficiently on production lines, following all procedures and specifications
- Using hand tools, electric tools and pneumatic tools to carry out mechanical tasks
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and compliant with safety standards
- Spotting and reporting any issues that could cause delays or impact quality
- Handling materials and equipment safely, including manual handling and heavy lifting
- Accurately updating production records and data
- Supporting your team and stepping in where needed to keep things running smoothly
Ideal Candidate
- Strong communication skills – essential in a safety-critical setting
- A positive, proactive attitude and a team-first mindset
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to work
- Ability to stay focused and work safely under pressure
- Mechanical background preferred, ideally with experience in overhaul or repair work

Working hours:
Monday to Thursday: 08.00hrs to 16.30hrs
Friday 08.00hrs to 14.30hrs
