Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Factory Manager for production operations in. The successful candidate will oversee daily manufacturing activities, optimise processes, and ensure the highest standards of quality and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of supply chain management to drive continuous improvement within the factory environment. The Factory Manager will be responsible for managing teams, implementing process improvements, and maintaining compliance with safety and quality standards.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate all production activities to meet operational targets efficiently.
- Oversee utilisation of new production contriol tecniques
- Drive process improvement initiatives to optimise manufacturing workflows and reduce waste.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures to ensure products meet specified standards.
- Manage supply chain logistics, including procurement, inventory management, and distribution coordination.
- Supervise assembly lines and mechanical operations, providing technical guidance as necessary.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by analysing performance data and implementing best practices.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations across all factory operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and enhance overall productivity.
- Conduct regular staff training programmes to promote skill development and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing management or production leadership within an industrial environment.
- Mechanical knowledge with an understanding of assembly processes and process improvement methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively while promoting a safety-first culture.
- Experience in implementing continuous improvement strategies
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on quality control and process optimisation.
- Relevant qualifications in engineering, manufacturing technology, or a related field are preferred but not essential.
