We are looking for an Assistant Cleaning Manager to oversee all aspects of cleaning operations across allocated sites, ensuring high standards through effective team management, cost control, and service delivery.
This is a mobile role primarily based in Gogarburn, with responsibility for supporting an additional 10 sites across the region from Edinburgh to Greenock.
Job Description
The successful candidate will play a key role in leading and supporting cleaning teams, maintaining service excellence, and ensuring compliance with company procedures and client expectations.
You will also deputise for the Cluster Manager when required, contributing to the smooth and efficient running of the operation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support cleaning teams to deliver high service standards
- Manage day-to-day operations, including audits, stock control, and cleaning schedules
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and training of team members
- Drive team performance, engagement, and wellbeing
- Ensure compliance with company procedures, health & safety regulations, and client policies
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
- Support budget control and complete basic financial administration
- Deputise for the Cluster Manager when required
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Previous experience within cleaning or housekeeping environments
- Experience managing teams
- Ability to maintain consistent service standards
- Health and Safety management experience (e.g. COSHH)
- Full UK driving licence (company van provided)
