The Role (1 SDR, 1 AE - we’ll match your skills to the role)
Sales. It's one of those skills that a lot of people take for granted. In reality, we all work in sales, everyday, and it's a critical skill for SO many areas of life.
Whether it's convincing a mate to come out to dinner with you, asking a shop assistant to accept your 10% 'student' discount (when you graduated back in 2018…), or chatting to someone that you like the look of in a bar - it's all sales. How you get your message across, peak interest, answer their questions or concerns, combat any pushback, arrange next steps and so on.
That's the role! You'll be working within the wonderful world of affiliate marketing to sell our Card Linked Offer (CLO) campaigns to brands. This one's a lot about who you know - you'll be tapping into your existing relationships across the affiliate world (whether that's networks, agencies, or brands directly) to build and fill our sales pipeline with relevant clients who are eager to learn more about how we can help.
This is genuinely a relationship game. We need someone who's already known and plugged into the affiliate world - ideally with a handle on both the UK and US sides of it (agencies, networks and brands), so you know the lay of the land and the lay of the land knows you.
Think about the kind of person you are day to day: are you the one who says hi to everyone at a social event? Do you strike up a conversation with a stranger without a second thought? We need someone for whom relationship-building isn't a task on a list, it's just how they operate.
This role is deliberately a little flexible - it depends on you and what you bring to the table:
- If you're earlier in your career (think c.1-2 years in the affiliate world, maybe some SDR experience under your belt), this will lean more towards building & optimising leads from your affiliate/network relationships, and passing warm opportunities into the sales funnel.
- If you're a bit further along (2-3+ years of affiliate experience, comfortable running a full sales process), this will lean more towards actually owning the sale - from discovery call & initial questions through to deal closure & passing onto our Onboarding Team / AMs.
Either way, the affiliate relationships and knowledge of that world are what matter most - we'll work out where you slot in based on your experience.
Who You'll be Working With
We operate a small, hungry team of entrepreneurial people who all buy into the same vision. We're a friendly bunch, and we encourage team members to be clear about what they enjoy, don't enjoy, want to develop, and so on.
Our leadership team is highly capable of delivering in a fast-growth environment. We have experience selling into and delivering projects within the financial services and consulting sectors from our time at Visa, Worldpay, IBM, Accenture, Atos and Filament AI. We also have a number of notable investors and advisors supporting the business, including Just Eat.
