Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and reliable Yard Operative to join our team in Stanton Suffolk.
We are a company that supply's trusses, joists and timber frame for the general public and building sites across all counties.
This position is mostly working outside. A forklift licence is essential but can be given to a suitable candidate.
You will need to be fit and healthy as some lifting/carrying of timber will be required at times
Job role description as follows:
- Operate a forklift safely and effectively to load, unload, and move materials around the yard when a delivery comes in
- Load our lorry's with timber products for each project
- Pick timber and metalwork for each project
- Keep the yard tidy
- Liase with the office staff
Week days Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30-16.00.
We are shut over Bank Holidays, Christmas and New Year period.
Pay: From £12.75 per hour
Work Location: In person
