We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and management, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and quality. This role requires a blend of culinary expertise, leadership skills, and a passion for hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and support to ensure efficient workflow.
- Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies and maintaining stock levels.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment.
- Collaborate with other departments to create menus that meet customer expectations.
- Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold restaurant standards.
- Implement cost control measures to optimise kitchen efficiency.
Skills
- Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation.
- Strong management skills with prior supervising experience in a kitchen or restaurant setting.
- Culinary experience with a solid understanding of various cooking techniques.
- Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the kitchen.
- Experience in hospitality with a focus on customer satisfaction.
