Welder / Fabricators – 2 Positions
Location: Brownhills, Walsall
Pay: £15.00–£16.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, day shifts
Contract: Temporary to permanent
Additional hours: Overtime available
Bespoke Career Solutions is recruiting two experienced Welder / Fabricators for a busy structural steel manufacturer in the Brownhills area.
This is a long-term, temporary-to-permanent opportunity involving heavy-duty structural welding and fabrication. Candidates must be confident working independently from complex engineering drawings.
Key Responsibilities
- MIG welding heavy-duty structural steel
- Fabricating steel components to specification
- Reading and interpreting complex engineering drawings
- Measuring, marking out and preparing materials
- Cutting, drilling, grinding and assembling steelwork
- Checking completed work for accuracy and quality
- Using hand tools, power tools and workshop machinery
- Following all health and safety procedures
Skills and Experience Required
- Previous experience as a Welder / Fabricator
- Strong structural or heavy steel welding experience
- Ability to work accurately from complex fabrication drawings
- Confident measuring, marking out and assembling components
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, safety-conscious and committed to producing high-quality work
