Job Summary
Poulton Childcare is looking for a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Early Years Apprentice to join our friendly nursery team.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who would like to begin a rewarding career working with young children while gaining a recognised Early Years qualification. You will receive practical experience within the nursery alongside structured training and support from an apprenticeship training provider.
Working alongside our experienced practitioners, you will help to provide a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment in which children can play, learn and develop. You will gradually build the knowledge and confidence needed to support children’s care, learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has a genuine interest in working with babies and young children
- Is warm, patient and approachable
- Is willing to learn and respond positively to guidance
- Is dependable, punctual and able to work as part of a team
- Understands the importance of safeguarding and confidentiality
- Is prepared to take an active part in nursery life, including indoor and outdoor play
- Is committed to completing all elements of their apprenticeship
Previous nursery experience is helpful but not essential, as full support and training will be provided.
The successful applicant will be required to complete appropriate safeguarding and suitability checks, including an enhanced DBS check and satisfactory references.
Pay: £19,760.00-£25,114.96 per year
