Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to complete multiple daily drops across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring items are handled with care and transported securely
- Verify delivery addresses and obtain signatures or proof of delivery from customers
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and customers to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly
- Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and documentation throughout your shift
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections, report any maintenance needs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as stock movement or heavy lifting when required to support team operations
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; <PERSON> driver qualification is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with customers and team members
- Experience in warehouse work or handling heavy lifting equipment is advantageous
- Knowledge of local roads, traffic laws, and navigation tools to optimize delivery routes
- Ability to stay organized, manage time efficiently, and work under pressure in a lively environment
- Physical stamina for prolonged periods of driving, loading, and unloading deliveries
