We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented General Mechanical Worker specializing in Land Rover vehicles. In this role, you will perform essential mechanical tasks to ensure Land Rovers operate at peak performance, safety, and reliability. Your hands-on expertise will contribute to maintaining the high standards of vehicle quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics on Land Rover vehicles to identify mechanical issues.
- Perform repairs, replacements, and adjustments on various mechanical components using hand tools and power tools.
- Disassemble and reassemble engine parts, suspension systems, brakes, and other key vehicle systems with precision.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and diagnostic findings for each vehicle serviced.
- Follow safety protocols and ensure all work areas are kept clean and organized to promote a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical problems efficiently.
- Assist in the ordering and inventory management of parts and tools necessary for daily operations.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience working on Land Rover or similar vehicles.
- Familiarity with using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, pliers, etc., for various repair tasks.
- Experience operating power tools safely and effectively in an automotive repair setting.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagnostic reports accurately.
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Prior experience in an automotive repair shop or dealership environment is preferred but not mandatory.
