Monkey Tree Holiday Park is a multi-award winning family run park known for its commitment to providing exceptional customer service. We are seeking passionate, energetic and driven Catering Assistants to join our team here at Monkey Tree Holiday Park for the 2026 season. The ideal candidate will be proactive and support kitchen operations to enhance the experience of our guests.
This is offered on a Seasonal Contract until September 2026, with the potential to extend based on performance. The hours for this position are offered on a variable hour’s basis which means flexibility is essential. Business hours for the kitchen are 8am to 10pm from Monday to Sunday.
What you will be doing:
- Preparing and serving food in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintaining a positive company image and a great workplace.
- Providing a first-rate and efficient service to customers to ensure their time at the restaurant is enjoyable.
- Co-operating with management to maintain a safe and hygienic working environment.
- Varied work patterns covering a variety of outlets including Club House, Chip Shop, Pizzeria and pool bar.
What we are looking for:
- The successful candidate may have a degree of kitchen experience but this is not essential. We will happily train people with a great work ethic and positive attitude.
- A team player with a positive outlook along with a calm disposition.
- Must work well under pressure, with the ability to use own initiative and problem solve.
- Customer focused with a positive can-do attitude.
- A keenness to learn and ability to work hard will be key.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
- Smart appearance and professional manner.
- Good sense of humour – essential!
