Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Attendant to join our team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linen and laundry items are cleaned, pressed, and maintained to the highest standards.
This role offers an excellent opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, supporting the overall guest experience through efficient laundry services.
Previous experience is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.
Duties
- Operate laundry equipment such as washers, dryers, and pressing machines in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items efficiently while maintaining organisation.
- Ensure all linen and textiles are cleaned to the required quality standards.
- Fold, press, and prepare laundry for daily use.
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area and ensure equipment is well-maintained.
- Record and track laundry inventory accurately.
- Follow all safety procedures and report any maintenance issues promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience not essential as full training will be available.
- Knowledge of a press iron operation is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
