Role overview
We’re looking for a proactive, experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our property and facilities maintenance team. You’ll deliver reactive repairs and planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across commercial and residential sites, covering a broad range of building maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Carry out reactive maintenance and PPM on building systems and general fabric.
- Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults safely and efficiently.
- General building maintenance: basic joinery, painting/decorating, minor plumbing, patch repairs.
- Manage daily/weekly schedules and respond to urgent call-outs as required.
- Complete accurate job records using digital job cards / mobile workforce systems.
- Work in line with Health & Safety, RAMS, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
- Participate in an out-of-hours rota (shared) if required.
- Support minor projects and small works.
Essential requirements
- Proven experience in property maintenance / FM / building services.
- Competent across plumbing, joinery, basic decorating, and fault finding.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Strong understanding of H&S best practice and safe systems of work.
- Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
Desirable
- Qualifications/certs: City & Guilds, IPAF, PASMA, Gas Safe.
- Experience across both commercial and residential properties.
- Familiarity with CAFM / mobile job management systems.
