Job Summary

In this role, you will be the friendly face welcoming guests, serving delicious breakfast offerings, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop hospitality skills while delivering exceptional guest service in a lively, fast-paced environment. Standard hours would be 7.00am to 3.00pm.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with seating arrangements in the breakfast area
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special requests are noted and fulfilled
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Ensure food safety standards are adhered to during food handling and service
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Clear tables promptly and maintain cleanliness of the dining area throughout service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, supporting kitchen staff during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to serve multiple tables quickly while maintaining excellent service quality
- Provide attentive guest services by checking on guests’ needs and addressing concerns promptly
Skills
- Strong background in hospitality or restaurant experience with a focus on breakfast service
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper handling procedures
- Basic math skills for processing orders and payments accurately
- Kitchen experience or culinary knowledge is a plus for supporting food prep tasks
- Effective time management to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Exceptional guest service skills with a positive attitude and professional appearance
- Ability to upsell menu items naturally to enhance guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
