Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Level 3 in Early years practice, Qualification must be Early Years childcare and not health and Social care. The role involves creating a nurturing environment that promotes the development and wellbeing of young children, ensuring they receive the highest possible standard of childcare and education.
Responsibilities
. Maintain a safe and enabling environment where children feel happy to learn,.
- Provide high quality childcare and early education to children in a safe nursery environment.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and implement educational programs aligned with early childhood development standards, to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare and education.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and guardians regarding childs progress and development.
- Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily activities, adhering to nursery policies and procedures.
- Uphold health and safety regulations at all times.
- Support the professional development of junior staff members through mentoring.
- Contribute to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity.
- Assist in the preparation of learning materials and resources.
- Drive initiatives that foster a positive learning environment, encouraging children's social, emotional and cognitive growth.
- Qualifications
- Hold a valid Level 3 qualification in Childcare or Early Childhood Education.
- ( Health and Sosial care qualification is NOT acceptable for this position)
- Proven experience working in a nursery setting.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A genuine passion for working with young children and fostering their development
- is crucial.
- An ability to mange multiple tasks while maintaining a calm and organised approach.
- Valid driving license is preferred but not essential.
