Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Panel Builder / Panel Wirer to join our client's team. The role involves building, wiring and testing LV distribution and MCCB panels to relevant electrical standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and test LV distribution and MCCB panels to BS EN 61439 and BS 7671.
- Read and work from electrical CAD drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Select and check components before each build.
- Build wiring looms using cable crimping tools.
- Carry out continuity, insulation resistance and functional testing.
- Fault find and rectify wiring and assembly issues.
About You
- Strong previous experience in LV panel building / panel wiring.
- Good understanding of electrical systems and components.
- Able to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous LV panel testing experience.
- 18th Edition knowledge is desirable.
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
- Computer literate.
Working Hours & Salary
- Monday – Thursday: 7:25am – 4:30pm
- Friday: 7:30am – 1:10pm
- £12.71 - £13.31 per hour DOE
