Job Overview
We are seeking two motivated and dependable Independent Housekeepers for our holiday let property in Daglingworth. You will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction, helping to create memorable holiday experiences. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will directly contribute to the success of our rental property. We have been averaging 5 bookings per month.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and sanitization of the holiday let including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, outdoor patios/decks, front porch, garden activity room.
- Prepare the property prior to guest arrivals by making beds, restocking essentials, and ensuring all amenities are in place
- Conduct routine janitorial tasks such as vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, and waste disposal to uphold cleanliness standards
- Attend to mid-stay housekeeping when required for longer stays
- Report any maintenance issues or damages immediately to ensure swift resolution
- Follow health and safety protocols consistently to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff
- Attend to laundry including washing, drying, ironing, folding linens, towels.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning roles such as janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time efficiently
- Knowledge of cleaning products, tools, and safety procedures related to hospitality cleaning standards
- Previous experience in hospitality or hotel settings is highly desirable
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays as required by the booking schedule
- Flexibility to take on other ad hoc jobs as required from time to time.
