Operations & Events Manager – Hidden Garden, Warrenpoint

Hidden Garden is one of Northern Ireland’s fastest-growing wellness destinations, offering saunas, hot tubs, cold water therapy and unique outdoor experiences. We’re looking for an experienced Operations & Events Manager to help take the business to the next level.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone with experience managing hospitality venues such as cafés, restaurants, leisure venues or visitor attractions, while also having the drive to develop and grow our events business.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of Hidden Garden.
- Manage and lead the café and customer experience team.
- Ensure exceptional customer service and high operational standards.
- Plan, organise and deliver events from small group bookings to large-scale experiences.
- Develop relationships with sports clubs, businesses, schools and community groups to generate bookings.
- Proactively contact GAA clubs, football clubs, rugby clubs, gyms and businesses to promote team recovery sessions, away days and corporate wellness events.
- Coordinate corporate events, wellness retreats, fitness events and seasonal experiences.
- Manage staffing, rotas, stock and operational procedures.
- Drive revenue through new partnerships and event opportunities.
- Work closely with the owners to continue growing the business.
About You
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Experience managing a café, hospitality venue, leisure business or visitor attraction.
- Experience organising and delivering successful events.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong organisational and communication abilities.
- Confidence building relationships with businesses, sports clubs and organisations.
- A proactive attitude—you’ll enjoy picking up the phone, networking and creating new opportunities.
- The ability to work weekends and during busy event periods when required.
