Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join the Coventry Specialist Core CAMHS Team on a 12-month fixed-term contract to provide maternity leave cover.
This is an exciting opportunity to work within a friendly, supportive and dynamic multidisciplinary team delivering evidence-based intervention for children and young people experiencing mental health difficulties. You will work collaboratively with young people, families, schools and partner agencies to provide high-quality, person-centred care that promotes recovery and positive outcomes.
The successful applicant will manage a diverse clinical caseload, undertaking comprehensive mental health reviews, formulation, risk assessment and therapeutic interventions, alongside care coordination and multi-agency working. You will contribute to safeguarding, clinical decision-making, service development and the ongoing delivery of high-quality CAMHS provision.
We welcome applications from Registered Mental Health Nurses, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists or other registered professionals with experience of working with children and young people with mental health needs.

The successful applicant will work as part of the Coventry Specialist Core CAMHS multidisciplinary team, providing high-quality, evidence-based mental health reviews, intervention and care coordination for children and young people presenting with a range of mental health difficulties.
Key responsibilities include:
Undertaking comprehensive mental health risk assessments.
Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions to children, young people and their families.
Acting as Care Coordinator where appropriate, developing, implementing and reviewing collaborative care plans.
Working in partnership with families, schools, social care, health colleagues and other agencies to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
Contributing to safeguarding processes, risk management and clinical decision-making within the multidisciplinary team.
Maintaining accurate, timely and high-quality clinical records in line with Trust and professional standards.
Participating in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical supervision, service development and quality improvement initiatives.
Supporting the delivery of safe, effective and recovery-focused services while promoting positive outcomes for children, young people and their families.
