Qualified Dental Nurse (Full-Time)

Baudelaire Dental Clinic is a leading private dental practice in the heart of Marylebone, committed to providing exceptional patient care in a welcoming and professional environment. Our multidisciplinary team offers general, cosmetic and specialist dentistry using the latest techniques and technology.
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic and highly organised Qualified Dental Nurse to join our friendly team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
Clinical
- Provide chairside assistance for general, cosmetic and specialist dental treatments.
- Assist clinicians in oral surgery, prosthodontics, endodontics, implant dentistry and orthodontics.
- Support our hygienists during hygiene and periodontal appointments.
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient to the highest standards.
- Maintain excellent cross-infection control procedures in accordance with HTM 01-05.
- Sterilise instruments and ensure clinical areas are maintained to an exceptional standard.
- Prepare dental materials, equipment and laboratory work.
- Take clinical photographs, impressions and digital scans where appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using digital practice management software.
Patient Care
- Deliver a first-class patient experience from arrival to completion of treatment.
- Help patients feel relaxed, informed and cared for throughout their visit.
- Provide post-operative instructions and support where appropriate.
- Work closely with the clinical team to ensure efficient and seamless patient care.
Administrative
- Support reception when required.
- Assist with appointment booking and diary management.
- Process referrals, laboratory work and patient correspondence.
- Assist with CQC preparation and help maintain the practice’s compliance standards and documentation.
- Support the management team with general administrative duties.
Social Media (Desirable)
Creativity is always welcomed at Baudelaire. While not essential, it would be a bonus if you enjoy:
- Coming up with fresh ideas for social media content.
- Taking professional photos and videos within the practice (with patient consent).
- Supporting the team with Instagram and other social media content that reflects our premium brand.
Essential Requirements
- GDC registered Qualified Dental Nurse.
- National Diploma in Dental Nursing (or equivalent).
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a private dental practice.
- Experience in both general and specialist dentistry.
- Experience assisting dental hygienists.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
- A genuine commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Desirable Skills
- Dental radiography qualification.
- Experience with digital scanners such as iTero.
- Knowledge of Invisalign and digital workflows.
- Dental photography experience.
- Interest in social media content creation.
