Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily nursery routines, ensuring activities are engaging, educational, and age-appropriate
- Supervise and support nursery staff, promoting teamwork, professional development, and high standards of childcare
- Create a safe, welcoming environment that encourages children’s curiosity, independence, and social skills
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians about children’s progress, needs, and any concerns
- Plan and implement early childhood education programs aligned with developmental milestones
- Maintain accurate records of children’s activities, attendance, and developmental progress
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and safeguarding policies at all times
Skills
- Proven management and leadership experience in childcare or early childhood settings
- Strong communication skills in English to interact confidently with children, parents, and team members
- Extensive experience working with children in nursery or preschool environments
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
- Ability to foster a positive team environment through motivation and guidance
- Excellent organizational skills to manage daily routines efficiently
