We are now recruiting for a Rapid Response Care Assistant to join our specialist team supporting new clients and responding to urgent care requirements across Bath and the surrounding areas.
This is an exciting role for carers who enjoy variety, independence and making an immediate difference to people's lives.
Shift Pattern
This role operates on a rolling rota:
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday
Working hours are generally:
7:00am to 2:00pm
4:00pm to 10:00pm
Additional overtime opportunities are available.

About the Role
As a Rapid Response Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping us safely onboard new clients and respond to urgent care requirements.
You will often be the first member of the Your Care Plus team to meet and support new clients, helping them settle into their care package and ensuring they receive exceptional support from day one.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting new clients during the first days and weeks of their care package
- Providing personal care and support with daily living activities
- Medication support and monitoring
- Meal preparation and nutrition support
- Companionship and emotional support
- Promoting independence, wellbeing and dignity
- Responding to urgent care requests and changes in client needs
- Working closely with management to ensure smooth transitions and high quality outcomes
No two days will be the same. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and enjoys building positive relationships with a wide range of people.

- Previous care experience is essential

- Confidence working independently

- A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
