Press Operator
The Press Operator is responsible for safely operating concrete press machines to manufacture concrete products according to production schedules and quality standards. The role includes monitoring machine performance, performing routine maintenance, ensuring product quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate concrete press machines and related production equipment efficiently and safely.
- Set up and adjust machine settings according to product specifications.
- Monitor production processes to ensure consistent product quality and dimensional accuracy.
- Inspect finished products for defects, cracks, chips, and report any quality issues.
- Perform routine machine inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Troubleshoot minor equipment issues and report major mechanical or electrical problems.
- Comply with all workplace health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Wear and properly use required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with maintenance, quality control, and production teams to improve efficiency.
Pay: £12.71-£19.07 per hour
