Job Overview
We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Shop Assistant / Production Worker to join our busy butchers shop team on a part-time basis.
This is a varied role involving both customer-facing shop duties and production work within our preparation area.
Duties will include:
- Serving customers and dealing with enquiries
- Taking customer orders
- Operating tills and handling payments
- Keeping the shop clean, tidy, and well presented
- Assisting with stock and general shop duties
- Making burgers and other prepared products
- Helping to produce and prepare our popular craft range
The ideal candidate will be:
- Reliable and trustworthy
- Friendly and customer-focused
- Flexible and willing to help where needed
- Able to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Comfortable with early starts, including 8am starts on certain days
Hours & Pay:
- Part-time: 16–24 hours per week
- Monthly pay
- Weekend availability is required
Experience in retail, food production, or butchery is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided for the right person.
