Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will help maintain a clean and safe environment for both staff and patients, supporting our mission of delivering excellent healthcare services. The position is based at Station Drive Surgery and plays a vital part in ensuring our practice remains welcoming and hygienic.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of patient areas, treatment rooms, and staff facilities.
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and adhere to health and safety regulations.
- Use commercial cleaning equipment and supplies effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or supply shortages to management.
- Follow infection control protocols to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Support the team in maintaining a tidy and welcoming practice environment.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning (preferred)
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures (preferred)
- Ability to work independently and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred but not essential.
- Reliability and a positive attitude towards teamwork.
Pay: £13.00-£15.00 per hour
