Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. Responsibilities
- Install air conditioning units in residential, commercial, and industrial settings according to project specifications
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on existing air conditioning systems
- Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and installation manuals accurately
- Troubleshoot issues with equipment during installation or repair processes, resolving problems promptly
- Collaborate with other tradespeople during construction or renovation projects to coordinate work schedules and ensure seamless integration of systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including reports on system performance and repairs undertaken
Requirements
- F-Gas qualified
- Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, or related construction roles
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to repair and troubleshoot equipment effectively
- Familiarity with reading schematics and technical diagrams essential for accurate installation
- Leadership skills to supervise or guide team members during projects.
- Knowledge of equipment repair techniques specific to air conditioning systems
- Construction experience advantageous for understanding building frameworks and integration processes
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments
- Valid driving licence preferred for transportation between sites
