Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive guest experience. Duties:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor
- Check-in and check-out guests efficiently and accurately
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Maintain accurate guest records and ensure confidentiality of personal information
- Assist with reservations, cancellations, and modifications as needed
- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures
- Answer phone calls in a polite and professional manner
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and email correspondence
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with fluency in multiple languages is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and effectively
- Proficient computer skills including knowledge of hotel reservation systems
- Professional phone etiquette with the ability to handle high call volumes
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling guest information
- Must be available to work midweek & weekends, various shifts 7-3 & 3-11 on a rotational basis
