Goods In / Goods Out Coordinator
PACE Ltd is a leading aluminium foundry supplying high-quality castings and engineering solutions to customers across a range of industries. We are looking for a reliable and organised Goods In / Goods Out Coordinator to join our busy operations team.
This is a key role within the business, ensuring all incoming materials, consumables, and subcontracted goods are received, checked, recorded, and distributed accurately to support production and customer delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive and book in incoming deliveries from suppliers and subcontractors.
* Inspect deliveries for accuracy, damage, and compliance with purchase orders.
* Verify delivery notes, certificates, and supporting documentation.
* Record goods received within the company's ERP/MRP system.
* Liaise with Purchasing and Quality departments regarding any discrepancies.
* Ensure materials are correctly identified, labelled, and stored.
* Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
* Support stock control activities and periodic stock counts.
* Arrange the safe movement of materials within the facility.
* Pick, pack and prepare finished products for despatch in accordance with customer requirements. Visual Inspection sometimes required.
* Ensure housekeeping standards are maintained within the goods receiving area.
* Follow all company Health & Safety procedures and foundry safety requirements.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
Essential
* Previous experience in Goods In/Out, Stores, Warehouse, Logistics, or Manufacturing environment.
* Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
* Ability to interpret delivery notes and purchase orders.
* Basic IT skills and experience using business systems.
* Strong communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Desirable
* Experience within a foundry, engineering, or manufacturing business.
* Forklift Truck (FLT) licence.
* Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
* Understanding of material traceability and quality documentation.
