Responsibilities
- Assist with meal preparation and food assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support kitchen staff in food safety practices, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation procedures
- Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and portioning as needed for cooking or serving
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, utensils, equipment, and storage areas throughout shifts
- Cleaning of Food Trollies and Shut Down
- Restock supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service hours
- Follow all health and safety regulations to promote a safe working environment for everyone
Qualifications
- Previous experience in catering, cooking, or restaurant environments is preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude towards teamwork
- Willingness to learn new skills related to culinary arts and food handling
