Job Description – Site Supervisor

Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 5:00pm, with a combination of day and night shifts as required.

Role Summary
As a Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget and to the required quality standards. You will lead site teams, coordinate subcontractors and ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental requirements. Flexibility to work a combination of day and night shifts is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily site activities and workforce.
- Ensure all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Coordinate subcontractors, labour, plant and materials.
- Monitor project progress and ensure works are completed on schedule.
- Quantify and order asphalt for laying.
- Carry out site inspections and maintain quality standards.
- Complete site records, reports and health & safety documentation.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and the project management team.
- Report any issues, delays or risks to management.
- Promote a positive health and safety culture on site.
Essential Requirements
- Previous experience as a Site Supervisor within construction or civil engineering.
- SSSTS or SMSTS qualification.
- CSCS Supervisor Card.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of health and safety legislation.
- Flexible approach to working a combination of day and night shifts.
Salary & Benefits
- Salary: £50,000 per annum.
- Car Allowance: £6,000 per annum.
Desirable
- First Aid at Work qualification.
- NRSWA Supervisor qualification.
- Experience supervising subcontractors and multiple work activities.
