AKA Recruitment are proud to be working with a well-established prestige Main Dealership in the York area to bring you this MOT Tester opportunity. Representing a premium automotive brand, you will play a key role within a busy, professional service department.
Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5:30pm, with overtime available on Saturday mornings. The basic salary starts from £15ph, with individual bonus opportunities available on top.
Conduct MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles, ensuring full compliance with DVSA standards
Carry out minor repairs and adjustments to improve vehicle safety and performance
Complete pre-delivery inspections and vehicle health checks where required
Perform final quality inspections, including thorough safety checks and road testing when necessary
Accurately record findings on job cards and statutory documentation
Work in line with manufacturer standards, health and safety procedures, and company policies
Level 3 qualified (NVQ or City & Guilds)
Valid MOT Testing licence is essential
Own tools
Full UK driving licence with no more than 6 points
Work within a premium, manufacturer-led environment
